With over 18 years of experience in the animation industry, my journey began as an Animation Trainee at Ice Animations. There, I had the privilege of learning from some of the most talented and dedicated professionals—people who constantly pushed boundaries, embraced new technologies, and inspired creativity.
Over the next 11 years, I progressed from trainee to leading and supervising animation projects across TV commercials, Hollywood feature films, and animated TV series. My career took another leap when I rejoined Ice Animations as Production Manager, later advancing to Senior Production Manager.
As a Production Manager, my role went far beyond timelines and task lists. I was responsible for coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, managing production schedules and budgets, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, artists, and technical teams. I supervised animation direction, asset creation, rendering workflows, and handled resource allocation to keep projects on track without compromising quality. My work also included client servicing, business development, and eventually financial management training, giving me a 360° understanding of the production pipeline—both creative and operational.
In the summer of 2020, I joined Funky Rockets as an Associate Producer to further expand my production and leadership skills. Despite my growing management responsibilities, my passion for hands-on animation never faded. Whenever possible, I dove back into animating, experimenting with new software, and staying at the forefront of industry trends.
At the start of 2021, I became Production Manager at Wakhra Studios, where I oversaw the entire animation production process—from concept to final delivery. My responsibilities included pipeline design, team leadership, quality control, workflow optimization, technical problem-solving, and mentoring junior artists. I was also involved in animating, layout quality checks, and ensuring every project upheld our creative vision and technical standards.
In 2023, I was promoted to Joint CEO – Wakhra 3D Animation at Wakhra Studios. As CEO, my responsibilities expanded to strategic business planning, high-level creative direction, client relationship management, operational oversight, innovation strategy, and long-term growth planning. I lead with a blend of creative passion and business acumen, ensuring Wakhra Studios delivers world-class visuals while fostering a collaborative, forward-thinking work culture.
For me, animation isn’t just a profession—it’s a lifelong passion that blends artistry, storytelling, and technology.

12-year-old Mansour, with friends Obaid and Salem, seizes every opportunity for adventure, making the ordinary extraordinary through imaginative escapades at home, school, or exotic locales.
My roles in this cartoon series started as a character animator, later on moving to a team lead and an animation supervisor position.
Mansour was created by Rashed Al Harmoodi and was initially produced by Fanar Productions during its first season.[2] The concept for the show was pitched at the Abu Dhabi Festival and its positive reception led Al Harmoodi to continue with the project. Negotiations for its release soon followed throughout the latter half of 2012, eventually ending with its primary investor Mubadala Development Company signing agreements with Abu Dhabi Media and Dubai Media Incorporated in December.[3]
Got an incredible opportunity to work on Shabiyat al Cartoon,
All the animations in this reel are done by me.
Shaabiat Al Cartoon (transl. Cartoon Neighbourhood) (Arabic: شعبية الكرتون) was an Emirati animated comedy series and sitcom that revolved around social and cultural values in Emirati society. It was first broadcast on television in 2006 during Ramadan on the channel Sama Dubai.[1] As of Ramadan 2025, Shaabiat Al Cartoon has been cancelled. The show was directed by Amer Kokh from 2006 to 2010, after which Haidar Mohammed took over as director in 2011.
